Vanessa Milanesi is a New Jersey based singer, songwriter, and worship leader. She has been singing and performing for her entire life and fronted a rock & roll band for three years before deciding to pursue a solo career. In 2017, she moved to NYC to kickstart her career in the music business, and this is where she encountered the dark side of the music industry.
After a traumatic and disturbing few months going down this path, Vanessa had a miraculous encounter with Jesus that would change her life forever. After praying to Jesus in a hotel room in the middle of the night, He rescued her. From that moment on, Vanessa dedicated her life and talents to the Lord. This moment was the catalyst that led Vanessa to create the music you are listening to today. Her latest single, “So Much Yes,” is about being brave enough to say Yes to the Lord, and be all-in for His plans, despite not understanding where He is leading you. The Lord is able to do far more than we could ever imagine, and all it takes is that first step of faith.
Vanessa leads worship every Sunday at her church in Ramsey, NJ and lends her voice to various non-profit organizations including Her Life Speaks, the Care Coalition, the Angel Band Project, and many more.
